Matey, at the end of the day its not about who is better than who. But as you state, you are young, heck so am I - relatively. When you have had close mates die infront of you as a result of motorsports you will understand the real dangers and where I am coming from. Til then, happy motoring.

Noham, Getting better but what you need to consider is whether you will be able to maintain the standard of living as back home. For instance, if you currently live close to your work and the rent is decent you need to figure out whether it's feasible to be in the same position as here. Without know...

That's not the most convenient place to be Cons. You will be relying on pretty much taxis to get you around. The only good things are that 'Zook' is just a walk down the road, Boat Quay and Clarke Quay are within 'walking' distance so night time entertainment will be taken care of. Suggestions on wh...

Depends where you will work and how far you want to live from your work matey.

Vehicle allowance should at the minimum cover monthly rental + running costs for a medium sized car - 2400dhs/month (~$8k/year)

In that case look at getting the housing allowance increased to a minimum of 30k. Vehicle should be just enough to get you by.

Actually Sal, Hertz and Thrifty are amongst the medium to higher priced rental places. Dollar rent-a-car and United car rental are two of the 'cheaper' places. You can get an Accord Euro for 2200-2400/Month.

Funny how the parking spaces along the streets become complately bare once a parking meter is implemented. Take the slip road adjacent to SZR where House of Cars, Quartermile Cars, etc are, this strip used to be hell to find parking when it was free. Now that municipality has put parking meters ther...

Even though I am a Porka fan through and through I would still pick a patrol or landcruiser over a cayenne to dune bash. The Cayenne is like an "idiot proof" off roader. Press some buttons and put your foot on the accelerator - where's the fun in that. Dune bashing is an art form in itself...

Gemballa rulez for body kits i prefer TechArt over Gemballa but to each its own, the above pictures posted are TechArt. Ditto for the Cayenne body kit - TechArt is horn. Performance, look no further than http://www.evolve.ae/forum/garage.php?mode=view_gallery_item&type=garage_mod&image_id=38

Hey soupie, nah mate. I've hammered both and the Cayenne Turbo still leaves the competition 'lagging'. If we're talking luxury, ride and comfort, the AMG hands down winner.
