There were no previous MRs, just a Miss Dubai Forums - courtesy of HP's poll.

I've seen some pretty severe ones as they happened, even a guy being cleaned up by a car going about 200 clicks as he was trying to run across SZR - needless to say he didn't survive. My record was 6 in the span of 4 hours on the road. 3 SZR, 2 Beach road and one just around the corner from my house...

Dubai is 'tax' free but doesn't mean import duties are inapplicable.

Er guys, one think I'd like to point out is that have you actually stop to notice that the majority of imported cars here DON'T HAVE FOG LIGHTS! This is why they use the hazard lights as otherwise you wouldn't see them at all. Granted it's a pain in the butt, but what else are you supposed to use? ...

I remember an offer from a company to work in a place that the location description said "Near Kuwaiti borders" and they paid like $2700 a month and u have to work for like 4 days a week and after 2 months u get 2 weeks off or something like that !!! That's a pretty crap offer from an O&a...

As long as there is money out there, there will be people willing to take the risks. Credit to some who do it for the 'experience' but when you have to take your health and well being into consideration money really doesn't matter much at the end of the day. New cars are designed to be driven from the turn of the key. Keep revs below 3k rpm until you reach normal operating temps. You are actually doing damage to the engine by letting it sit there and idle until normal operating temps.

You see the problem with Dubai is this and I have seen it first hand. People treat their own Muslim brothers (let alone non-muslims) like scum unless they rich. Just look at the construction workers people look at the with disgust and contempt. If being comfortable means you forget your own values ...
