Although I do not see it listed on RTA's website, and although I have called RTA now once about this.. I thought I would ask.. Slovakia used to be on the accepted drivers licence list.. Anyone know how I can get through this problem now? Do you think they would accepted it or not? I haven't actually...

On the alcohol licence it says copy of:

- photocopy of your tenancy contract

Do we honestly need this? There could be many reasons why one would not have this.. I'm subletting my place till october so I can't use the original landlords contract i'm sure..

So basically no till I get my own place... Then people are telling me the store will just sell you whatever you want without a licence also.. I don't even drink, this is only for friends who would come over, etc..

Whats the story with Dubai mall ice rink..? I see there is water pooling on it these days.. Before it used to be all frozen.. Something must be wrong because this is not normal and should never happen..

Odd.. Was never an issue in Canada where I think we know a thing or two about ice..

One thing, the rinks in Canada are certainly cooler then the Dubai Mall so thats a factor also..

There are stories of those American's doing that.. Totally clueless bunch sometimes... In the summer its normal to have +30c to +35c in the city..

I'm looking specifically for a gym ball which is 1m is in size. Genot, Carrefour and Hyperpanda only have 55 or 65 sizes.. So, any good sports shops here in Dubai where you've seen these items?

Its my new office chair.. Supposedly this is good for your back, posture, etc.. So far I like it this morning.. I got the Adidas 75cm model. All the others around were only 55cm which isn't enough to work beside a desk.

- Ductac = mall of emirates
- Madinat Jumeriah - nice theatre here
