Why is everyone so down in Dubai? You would think you all had it so hard here. Been here 5 days and barely seen any smiles yet alone people laughing. Is it that bad here?

I have a friend coming through from Abu Dhabi and I want to pick them up at the world trade centre stop but I don't know exactly where this bus stop is and dont really want to go hunting for it in the dark. Does anyone know exactly where the stop is, perhaps on a map?

Does anyone know if that beach about 2 petrol stations past Jebel Ali Freezone is still open. It's the one off shk zayed, down a road for a few km and then drive through some fencing and a bit of offroading. Always said no access but there were always cars and kite surfers there.

Our apartment building has an entry gate for the car park, but we only have one remote for the household. Is there a place, say in Deira where I can take the remote and they can copy the signal it gives off, into a new remote?
