gtmash is so proud of his car
his engine you'll hear from afar
but the poor lad can't see
it's just size of pee-pee
that makes boys need a great big 'jam jar'.

Two wrongs don't make a right! Showing the birdie to absolute strangers on the road is cheap and crass behaviour, which really can't be justified! Oh please, what kind of visual symbol should we use to communicate to someone in another vehicle that they are driving like and a.s.s.hole? The only rea...

Anyone need a canoe?

Amazingly after all the rain, the roads around my area were not turned into lakes this year, have they managed to improve the road drainage in some areas I wonder?

Usually I have a great time ploughing through huge puddles in my Range, but not much 'Sport' this year!

Once I sat in the middle of a roundabout miles from home looking at my mobile and knowing I couldn't speak to order a taxi. I walked for ever until I found a pub where I was known and they put me in a cab home.

I don't remember it, not quite old enough, but always know you have to study history to know why things and people are the way they are. Our lives have been moulded by the past, not the future. Looking back and understanding the good and the bad is important. Judging is less important than understan...

Yep nasty. My room flicks up and down, like a tv set where the hold has gone wrong. I heard other people's rooms spin round like a fairground ride. Weird.

I have heard several times (also in newspapers) here is another problem here. If there is a road accident and you go to help someone who is injured, if they die while you are trying to help them you can end up paying blood money to relatives. It's crazy, and it just makes you think don't go to help,...

Re: Looking for watch shops

Does anyone know of good watch shops in Dubai? I am looking for the brand such as Seiko, Tissot, Victorinox Switch Army, etc... basically the one that make their own machine, not a dress/fashion watch. From my experience in Singapore, a watch shop usually can give better price compared to the outle...

Some low paid and 'disposable' workers are told 'we keep your passport or we take away your job'. I hope you don't fall into that situation. The companies worry about absconding workers causing problems for them with the authorities, that's the reason, but yes for sure it's illegal now. Good luck.
