That was quite considerate of the court! The poor couple must be scared out of their wits....Unlike the obnoxious Brit couple! The guy seemed pretty obnoxious to me from remarks he has been alleged to make to the press (although we all know how the press twists words anyway, or puts words into peop...

I don't think many are fond of the French. Well I understand that they would rather tourists just fly over France and throw their money out the window so that the French don't have to tolerate them on land. :D :D :D That was good! Actually it's almost automatic for Brits to say nasty things a...

I don't know, what is it with these people, rent a room for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!! There's nothing more exciting than late at night on the beach. People tend to seek the thrills of excitement, in this case, public excitement without any viewers. These are good trial cases for Dubai courts. If t...

POLL: DO YOU LIKE LIVING IN THE U.A.E.?

FOR EXPATS WITH RESIDENT VISA AND NATIONALS - not for people who have not visited the U.A.E., already left, or those who don't have a current resident's visa. I want to know how we that live here feel about the U.A.E.. There's a lot of noise made by a few people about how bad this place is, some of ...

Katie there are a lot of young teachers here and I can tell you they do have a good time as far as nightlife goes. My daughter has bumped into them in various clubs/bars (what happens in Rock Bottom, stays in Rock Bottom). I think you should make friends quickly and have a great time.

I suppose it's close enough but the clause, "You wish you had never come" does not apply to me. I've had good experiences here and I assume most people have had memorable times too. I had made another option between the bottom too but thought it made it too picky. I take your point though!

Apart from Awful, I could have selected any of the others... The other four choices really are all different in their way. OK is not the same as neither good nor bad. OK is a degree of OK-ness. Similarly the top one is certainly more than just OK. Like all polls you have to come off the fence and c...
