Birth control pills

Hey everyone
I recently read somewhere that the pill might not be available over-the-counter anymore in dubai and that you would have to be married to purchase them. Anyone know if this is true? Thanks

For those who were wondering, they are both muslim arabs. Shes 24 and hes 26, and both educated. I understand that in some cultures its important for a girl to be a virgin, but if shes not, does that mean she doesnt have a chance at love or marriage? And im not talking about a girl who has been with...

She didnt tell him straight away, because she felt it was too personal to share. But when she realised things were going good and the relationship was going somewhere, she decided to be honest about it. Its not like he asked her and she lied. MC, as far as i know, she is only ok with s.e.x before ma...

As an arab, i would much prefer to date someone who isnt an arab. Maybe ive just had bad experiences, but they are way too controlling and expect women to be a certain way, while they do as they please. Again, thats just my experience. Im sure there are lots of arabs out there who arent like that. H...

PointGiven, she didnt just hop into bed with some guy she barely knew, it was a 4 year relationship. And im sorry, but if virginity is such a big deal in the arab culture, then why dont men keep their pants on? Most men go off and have fun, then when its time to settle down, they want a virgin. If t...

Well, most of the people i hang out with are arabs. But if i did meet someone who wasnt, i would have no problem going out with him if i thought we got along.

Ok, but what about women who engage in other acts just to preserve their virginity? Is that better than a girl who is being honest with you about her past relationships? I was shocked to hear how common it is for women to satisfy their boyfriends in other ways, just so they remain virgins.

Unfortunately, many do lie, so theres no way to know, just like its impossible to know whether a guy is a virgin. Which is why i think the truth is always better, even if its not what you want to hear.

xty, ive had this conversation with arab women before. I think most are more open to dating arab men because if things got serious, it would be easier for their parents to accept him, than if they brought home someone who was not arab. However, there are some arab women who have no problems dating a...

I agree with xty, i dont think a nightclub is the best place to look for a decent girl. Do you have any hobbies? Maybe look for places that give classes. It'll be easier to get to know people and you'll have something in common. Also, what about your friends? Maybe they know someone who would be a g...

Time is really the only thing. The first few days are the WORST, but later you'll start to feel a bit better. Surround yourself with friends, even if youre not up for it, DO go out. Talk about it, it doesnt help to keep it in. Think about the breakup...was it for the better? If so, think about how m...
