Am moving to Dubai in March from UK. My academic certificate is currently going through the Foreign Office and UAE Embassy in London.

I thought property was cheaper on the Deira side and have been told that its better to live on that side because of traffic. I dont fancy being sat in traffic jams all morning!

Post in Duubai - how slow?

Sent my academic certificate to my company by recorded delivery mail on 30/01/07. It left UK on 31/01/07 but still hasn't been delivered.

Is the postal service quite slow there? Is it normal? Just hope they havn't lost it as its the original certificate.

It was the postal service. but recorded delivery. It has to be signed for by the recipient.

Should have used a proper courier I think!

They can forward it then directly to the UAE Embassy in London. Check on their respective websites regarding costs and payment...

Anybody live in International City

The rents there seem pretty decent. Is its just a big building site still?

Anyone have an idea of how long it would take to drive to Deira (Rigga Road) in rush hour?

thanks
