What you are trying to do? Increase space or format the hard drive. You need windows CD if C: drive is system. just repartition it then, boot it from windows CD. That should do it.

I would just keep the harddrive. I am suspicious of just 'erasing' data...metadata can be 'mined' even after deletion - not worth the 50 bucks...we incinerate our harddrives.
