Re: Nouman Ali Khan - Respecting Parents - Quran Weekly

Normally people are instructed - ethics, school, etc... that's were moral teachings or teaching in general come in. Our whole life is...

I've questioned every aspect of Islam and tested against logic - and indeed I apply this to all the beliefs I hold. I find it illogical to think it is ok to believe something that offends logic. Cheers, Shafi...

Re: Logic and Religion/Faith

We've already discussed the 'logical' verses of the Koran you're afraid to talk about - Koranic incest and home confining women guilty of 'whoredom', etc., etc. Wow, how biased a person can get. In all three Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) initially incest was not considered ...

Re: Immigrant Families Have Children For Benefits

DearJohn wrote:Pakistani and Bengali families living in Pakistan and Bangladesh are large where there are no state benefits. I think that the culture of these two nationalities on the whole makes them want to have large families and not the benefits they derive from it.

That makes sense.

Re: What A Great DF meet!!

So it's not really a DF meet up then, unless it's open to ALL members and not just a select few invited by her highness and the minions. Why would we expect anything else. A TRUE DF meet up as they used to be is posted and members are required to PM their attendance. So please don't call it a Df me...

Not the case today! Meet-ups have to be hand selected to keep out th...
