I have been offered a job in Dubai with a company that will pay me a housng allowance. Can anybody tell me how much an average monthly rent would be for a half decent one bedroomed place?

Good result for you's on Saturday. I watched some of it as it was on in the same pub as the Old Firm (Im Scottish by the way, and support Hearts).

Is there many places that show the premiership games? Or is it just the occasional big ones?

I take it the scottish games are never shown?

A Number 1, I take it that is just a trim. I'll ask for that then.

Trying to do that but you can't fill it in on-line, you have to ask for forms. then fill them in. Even then the woman said that they do residency checks as standard as a UK drivers license is worth so much overseas.

You don't need a new style UK licence, the paper one is still recognised here. I got mine on a rather tatty and disheveled version! They transferred all the categories from my UK one as well...so I can drive motorbikes, trucks and buses and tanks and everything! Costs 150Dhs. and takes about 1 hour...
