Hello Salman, just a bit of advice from someone who is in the IT industry in Dubai. dont make a move here as a fresh graduate, get a couple of years of expereince in some speciality in the UK or wherever. Its a really tough place for a fresh graduate here (it is all over the world, but more so here)...

You guys need to chill out a bit. while i would never do it myself, i shouldn't automatically judge someone because they do ! Lots of restuarants, hotels and bust stops and taxi standds :) almost every building in the internet city, media city and the knolwedge village has a food court in int. plus the Dubai marina next door has nice cafes and restuarants. Also Le royal meridian and royal mirage are close by and have lots ...

depends really on what you want :) Showtime has more american tv than the rest .. Orbit is a better choice if your looking for a more diverse set of channels they have a good Arabic selection and i heard they recently added filipino channels too. I have never heard of the first one you mentioned. BT...
