Where in the USA do you live ? Comparing Dubai to a town in Wisconsin is different than comparing it to Los Angeles !!

Also why don't you come for a couple of weeks to Dubai to check it out before you make a decision ?

I guess there is a starbucks, japengo, trader vics, busters, dome cafe, noodle house .. are all in the souk madinat jumeirah and will be cheaper than the restaurants in the hotel ..

So with the new Dubai-Sao Paulo line coming online in October i am thinking of heading over to the one continent that i have not ventured to yet. I probably want to plan it around the carnival period... so anyone who has been there what cities/countries would you visit in a two week trip ? Any good ...

Anyone know of and/or has experience with a good real estate company that will manage and rent out your property for short term rentals ? I looked at better homes but i think there 20% commission is a bit high, even though it does look very professional.

yes your friend is right .. since the cap was 15% in 2006 the rent comittee decided not to let landlords who already increased in 06 to increase again in 07.
