For an IT Support person however this is above average. With the flood of highly skilled south asian labor in the market usually those positions are paid half what you will be making.

Rent will be your biggest expense so if you are able to get a good deal there you should be fine.

keep in mind that going from Dubai Marina towards those places in the morning is pretty much smooth you will be going opposite to the rush hour traffic. Also if you are coming back in the evening (5pm-9pm) you will also be going against the traffic so it shouldnt be too long. S&O gave you good t...

You can find buildings in Al Qusais with swimming pools. Al Mamzar has a beach and is sort of close to the airport.

Arabic Language Center in the World Trade center is a good place to learn Arabic in dubai. Dont know about Urdu though.

You can rent a villa in Jumeirah, Um Suquiem or Satwa those two areas are close by to SZR. Springs will probably be cheaper and your husband will be going against rush hour traffic on his way to work in the morning and back in the evening. Meadows are bigger but will most probably be out of your bud...
