Not sure what kind of salary you are looking for but if you come here direct from Lebanon with no experience, you will make next to nothing... PEANUTS!

Stay in Beirut, work a bit, get 3-4 years experience, maybe in Canada, and come back here.... Then your salary will jump.

Trust me on this :)

Wonder if the prices would be better than Garden Centre because you would need to negotiate with the sellers I am get...

I see validity in the argument. This is part of global terror therefore I have no qualms with discussing linked terror attacks.

Thanks George!

Makes no difference Liban and is not hypocrisy. I do my bit! But what I'm saying is these things are an unnecessary cruelty. I used to be a vegetarian and would gladly be again. I don't willingly eat things I know to cause cruelty, that's the difference. You don't HAVE to eat Fois Gras, you don't H...

Uhhhh.... How can the Prophet Mohammed read from the Quran when he basically was ILLITERATE...? I do not know this story so you probably invented it. Funny how you resort to religion, a subject you abhor, only when it suits your argument. I have no love for people who do sick things to animals just ...

For health reasons Liban, which by the way are none of your business. But at least what I do eat I know is causing no harm or the best I can do. At least I don't knowingly or willingly eat something which I know for a fact is the result of weeks or months of cruelty and suffering for an animal - th...

Actually someone quoted it in another forum, who happens to be very knowledgeable. So maybe you don't know everything there is to know about the topic. But the point is still the same what these guys did was totally stupid. Paragraph one: The Prophet could not read and that was a fact. This part is...

Dubai is extremly expensive, I agree. But the author got fleeced in her taxi ride or has her numbers all confused... Consider just one small sign of the times: one day last month, I found myself handing over 40 dirhams, or just under $11, for a six-kilometer trip across town. That’s over 6.5 dirhams...
