Re: Pick your spot carefully

If you do decide on Sharjah, the area you live in can make a huge difference - traffic inside Sharjah can be just as horrendous as moving beween Sharjah and Dubai. People living on Buheirah Corniche, or anywhere that involves going through Cultural Roundabout are having to leave earlier and earlier...

just opened an account with Dubai Islamic Bank. So far so good. Has internet banking, mobile phone banking and phonebanking.

Good customer service, simple and straight forward.

Have not explore other products from them though, although some of their financing products look good.

Yeah, its common to have gps/tv - most beemers have a tv tuner installed. It picks up free-to-air signals - I get about 6 channels, but once the car goes faster than 5kms/hr it will show a blank warning screen with only the sound remaining. i guess it is only good for Sharjah-to-Dubai morning trip ...

paid for mine about 800dhs for 5 years warranty, only side windows and rear window, not front. my car is a landrover disco, plenty of windows to cover. i believe a sedan will cost less. there is also an option to cover the front window with clear, but cost you more.
