According to a friend if you do a course at Jumeirah Beach Hotel you get use of the facilities. There is also Al Boom on Al Wasl Road-I think I've posted about this before and left numbers etc.

A great place to live. The summer is foul-but, hey, it's only weather. The traffic is bad, but you come from Melbourne-like driving home from the city after a footy match!! You're young too, so you'll probably enjoy the outdoor lifestyle- nice beaches. :D Welcome-you'll settle quickly!! :D

Try Wafi Gourmet in Wafi City-homemade icecream to die for- coconut, pomegranate, mango, chocolate, vanilla, almond, coffee etc and pistachio!! :D You can also buy pistachio flavour in the supermarket and there are plenty of pistachio nuts and pistachio baklava! :D

Jebel Ali is nice! Guys go kite surfing there which can be awesome to watch. Also the water is nice to swim in. Great for kids collecting shells and swimming. :lol: It amazes me that one can buy a top of the range car eg Ferrari, Hummer but cannot afford to purchase some of the optional extras like indicators. :lol:
You can get antirust treatments on cars but I don't know if that is a gulf spec.
