I know younger guys that share houses and live extremely well. You can still find villas in the Jumeirah and Umm Sequiem areas for 90 to 120 K per annum. You will be looking at an older style villa with three bedrooms-some have been renovated and some are basic, so you'll have to purchase an oven fo...

We have a moringa tree that has fruited. I think it is commonly known as a drumstick tree and I would like to know of any tasty recipes for cooking the leaves and the pods. Any suggestions? :)

I know that it infact has many medicinal purposes and due to its high content of vitamins (high source of vit.C calcium etc) it is considered a wonder tree. Many Filipinos, Pakistanis and Indians cook with it. Apparently you can use the leaves, pods and even flowers.

Jumeirah 1 to Oud Metha Road/Wafi City/ Lamcy Plaza about DH17
Jumeirah 1 to Maktoum Road about DH20
Jumeirah 1 to City Centre about DH20
Look up a post a while back that tells you charges per km and flag fall.

Where will you be working? City Centre BTW is a shopping mall...thought I should explain that one.
Defo is right Jumeirah is big, so it makes a diff where you are. Easy access to Sheikh Zayed Road from Al Wasl Road and Jumeirah Beach Road (full on road works on JB road tho').

Food varies in price. The cheapest supermarket would be Union Coop but even then I think you are going to find it expensive compared with a wet market in Thailand. Takeaway varies too, but a fried rice will set you back about DH12. A cup of two minute noodles is around DH2, but hardly something to l...
