As Choco said earlier it seems simply that they will delay the Shopping Festival slightly due to the mourning period, and we should see a decision in the next couple of days once they've had the meeting! So wouldn't worry, you'll still be able to spend on your house!!

As the bag was delayed for 3-4 days you may also want to argue that you had to buy some new clothes to cover you for that period. I'm pretty sure they will be responsible for this so will have to cover you with some kind of expenses......

Yes - a shame to see you go. In the last week or so the forum has been kinda quiet but I guess that's to be expected during Eid. In general I find that there is a lot of rubbish on the forum's but I'm gaining a lot from them too!

Are there any websites that offer advice on how to go about setting up an office in Dubai?

If anybody has any advice or guidelines on where to start it would help greatly

I tend to find that Google searches for topics related to Dubai can be really hit and miss. There seem to be a lot of unreliable or out of date websites and companies out there!
