Re: Superstorm Sandy.

Goodmorning BM. Glad you made it out ok. I was watching Sandy at CNN in the comfort of a pub, which gave me a bit of a strange feeling. I have experienced some heavy duty snowstroms, but the worst was during winter sport. It was very foggy, but we had to go straight to the black piste. After 100 met...

That's pretty bad. I suggest taking a train to Italy or Greece and take a cruise/ferry from there via Suez.

Re: Some Sane Advice

Here is some interesting advice from a 97 year old Japanese Doctor, who is still very active in pursuing his career. His experiences bear out the saying do what you love, and you'll love what you do! I couldnot imagine doing work I donot like. Do you agree? I prefer to have a happy fulfilling life....

Bucharest: travel report

I was very well impressed with Bucharest. I have been there five years ago, and man did the city change. I liked it back then, but now fell in love with it. The old city is great. Beautiful architecture with great restaurants. Everything with a mysterious Balkan atmosphere and people not afraid to h...

Re: Al Gore blaming Hurricane Sandy on Global Warming

Al Gore says Hurricane Sandy was caused by global warming. He is getting desperate it seems. Do you think humans are causing global warming or is Al Gore just full of hot air? I think it still has to be proven that there is global warming in the first place. And no, common sense tells me humans can...

Re: Some Sane Advice

I have come to the conclusion that there are two main kinds of people on planet Earth: those that have a happy disposition right from birth, and you cannot dampen their spirits no matter what; and then there are those that will moan and moan and be miserable even under the best of circumstances. Pe...

They make Neanderthalers look civilized. What do you think happened? Is it their upbringing? Pure sexual frustation because of the society they grow up in? Or something else?

Re: Religion and Politics

IMO, religion should stay out of poilitics. There hasnot been a presidental candidate in the US I liked for a while, but then again it isnot my country/election. At least there is still democracy in the US. Democracy in the European Union is going down the drain fast lately. Yes, I think most blacks...

Gaza war nr. x
