Even the biggest drinkers I know here do not mess with the law thus they be eating camel meat and going to the loos in a hole for 4 months. they bought their license from a gro...

True, but Dubai is often not comparible to the rest of the world. The Metro will take some take some strain off the buses but I doubt will do much else.

The problem I see is getting from home to station/station to home. You have some people that are going to live some distance from entry/exit points. This was one of the points I was going to make too, Dubai is hardly suited for pedestrians at the best of times. I'm all for it, I use the tube in Lon...

Sorry to hear that max, while not as bad as yours I once witnessed a crash right in front of me on the M1 in the UK once. Was able to stop in time, alert the cars behind and while the crash itself was quite bad visually, thankfully most people just suffered shock and bruising. However for months aft...

Stayed in the Rotana next door to the Meridian, which was nice. And stayed in the JAL, which despite not looking very welcoming from the road, was lovely. Not too busy, nice pool and beach and big inflatables out in the water to have a laugh on. Rooms were nicer than the Rotana too.

I was always under the impression that Italian clubs din't own their stadiums and it was the local council/authorities that did. This is how Italian clubs were able to spend more than Spanish or English clubs on players. Then again I think AC Milan are quite solvent compared to a lot of other big cl...

A lot of silent sponsors give up their "51%" for a reduced fixed fee that reflects the amount of work they do - eg signing papers, printing letters, getting new staff through the medical test a bit quicker. This is fair enough, the company is allowed to work within a realistic financial fr...

the ghay soft roaders, Ah, you like the macho, hard stuff, huh? Remember and play safe though. You really dont need a offroader for anything non desert related, I actually need the space. I would get an estate car (station wagon) but they don't seem to be that popular here thus more of a liability....
