Are you guys solo in Dubai? Or have your families along? If you are alone then is it a temporary situation--your families will tag along soon-- or permanent?
Most people I have seen are "the-brady-bunch" types, few are alone like me.

I do live with my family but soon my dads gonna go so I might stay and so yeah will be solo. But I do a lot of ppl who are solo which is kinda cool in some ways. The only thing that would get to you is u might run out of things to do when alone. I ran out of things already!!! One can't walk a minut...

The dorm am staying in has "showtime Arabia" and 'Orbit". You can subscribe to either one of them. They have all the American programmes you can think of in all categories. But is is a bit weeks behind than airing times in the US.
