U want to have the ability to pay in Dubai right?

So, easy thing: get a VISA or Eurocard/Mastercard somewhere in your city, and no worries. With a VISA or Eurocard/Mastercard u can get money out of every money-automate in Dubai and probably pay in every store. :)

Getting a SIMcard - Where and price?

I want to buy a SIMcard in Dubai. I know Etisalat is the only one who's offering these. I will stay close to IBN Battuta Mall, can you buy a SIMcard there in some shop? And how much will it cost me?

Thanks & Happy 2006! :) 8)

If you live near IBN Battuta mall you can get sim cards in Geant the large supermarket or any of the mobile shops. Yes you can make Intl calls, i have costed calling the UK at about 50p or 3.5Dhs per minute. And on Fridays all calls are half price. Thanks. I will have a look around IBN Battuta Mall...

Public copy machines?

Probably a stupid question...

But, just wondering if the malls in Dubai have public copy machines?

U see, I want to copy my CV like 200 times. But, this extra weight I have to carry in my luggage, and cannot take along more than 23 kg, otherwise I have to pay extra

So I guess that this also then means that all hotel bars will be open within the 40 day mourning period?

Wouldnt it be dramatic for Dubai's economy if they would stay closed? :?
