Hi i'm moving to Dubai on sunday and will be looking for a villa or flat to share over there in the near future. Preferably in the jumeriah beach or marina area. budget is around 3000-5000aed per month
I'm 26 ex uk millitary professional male
Can anybody give me a heads up on the legality of steroids in Dubai, a couple of freinds reckon you can get them over the counter and there legal there but wanted to get info from people actually living there.
for me the lodge has some great house music but lacks atmosphere because of its size. Zinc i really enjoyed great atmos low ceilings and awsome funkadelic electro progressive house lol jambase was a fun nite as well but is more relaxed ususally with live music but still an enjoyable evenin. Rock bot...
thats with the HSBC status account, you can make one free international transfer per month for free. Only problem is once you have set it up you cannot change the amount of the transfer as far as i'm aware. I set up my HSBC account while my residency etc was pending and the weren't fussed. They auto...
Hi peeps Where a good place to get a second hand 2005 model mustang GT from. i'll have a budget of up to 80-85000AED had a look on bizzle and i can get one for about that if not less, only thing is i want a yellow one which i can't find anywhere. I've only been able to use the net so far due to work...
landline calls aren't free, costs me 0.017 euros a min to call people in the uk and spain. Skype-skype call are free however and the sound quality is better when you do this compared to calling the landline.
Ref gym think i'll probably end up going the fitness first at IBN Battuta mall. All the decent bodybuilding gyms i've found are miles away and just not pheasable to commute to
so let me get this right, kill someone 6 months, have a pitiful amount of canabis on you at the airport and you get 4 years. Somethings not quite right with that
Just wondering who's into the weights scene over here either recreational training or more serious bodybuilding. If anybody knows where to get some good quality "supps" pm me.
anybody know where the decent girls are, you know the ones that don't ask you what car you drive in the first 5 secs, its not that i'm embarassed about my car or anything far from it i love my car, just annoying how materialistic some girls are.
i had my 3rd lesson on tuesday really enjoyed it as usual and very happy that i've learnt. I'm a skier at heart but wanted to learn to board as you can have more fun on a board at an indoor place. Got on it quite early as i've only been here 2 months. Was fantastic on tuesday was only about 8 people...
I've just read through all 8 pages and i am still none the wiser as to whether to buy or carry on renting. On the one hand renting is flexible and slightly cheaper than buying, but then again by buying i would have an assest that might have the ability to appreciate. My main concern is that at prese...
thats where i currently train at ibn battuta mall, good range of equipment but far far too busy on the evenings like 40-50 blokes milling round the free weights area, its a real struggle to get continuity in a workout apart from on leg days cause everyone is scared of the squat rack for some reason ...
Who goes to ski dubai on a regular basis, i've just taken up boarding (used to ski) and loving every second of it. Wanna get to know a few peeps who are experienced who can help me learn some freestyle moves and just hang out etc
went again last night, wanted to practice the ollie and manual tricks but had an awful session, felt really unstable the whole time and was having problems even linking turns was not a happy camper. Oh well got a level 2 lesson booked for friday night so hopefully that'll help. Will probably go on M...
Yeah me and my mate have done the discovery and begginer level. We went for a level 1 lesson but we'd done one session on our own and the guy said we were past level one already. Happy goin down from the top etc and don't mind fallin that much just really frustrated me last night. Plus i used to ski...
think the season runs from June till the end of August out there something like that. I've looked into it a little and it'd be cheaper to get your own flight to say Perth and book the holiday through an Aus company and fly on from there. What sort of time were you thinking of going?
see therein lies the problem with getting into snowsports, people have one go think its too hard and sack it. Trust me mate on my 4th time going i could go down from the top and just been for the 10th time and i cn pop an ollie of the lower rollers
see alot of people doing that at ski dubai, anything that requires technique you need to have a lesson. As blue said once you got the basics progression is quick as long as you keep it up and once competent its something you don't forget like riding a bike.
Apart from the shop in ski dubai does anyone know where else i cn buy a snowboard in Dubai, i was gonna get one shipped from the UK or US but once i've paid for shipping and customs fees its hardly worth it to save only a few quid
cheers peeps, on the aramex thing try and do a rates check and comes back not availiable. Done quotes on dhl/ups and come back at about 650aed ish. Gonna go the crown plaza on thurs apparently there's a shop in there and will try and find the farkom place as well
I don't think you'll have many problems at nearly £80k a year, rent over here is steep ish but you should be able to get a 3 bed place and still have plent to live off, kinda depends how much you want to save
The shop i went to was Farkom sports located upstairs in the crown plaza (where zinc is). There were about 15 boards to choose from all burton and about 7 womens boards. The bindings selection was pretty limited although they did have some more in the back, boots were pretty limited as well. A good ...
