I do not understand why we haven't had any little children come to our villa to trick or treat! Soooooooooooooo sad about it. Have it all lit up, lots of candy, and no sweet little children to give all of this to!!! I was out all day and saw adults and children dressed up in costumes. Went to MOE s...

Re: Feminism - women wearing revealing clothes

shafique wrote:A simple question.

Why do women wear revealing clothes in public - i.e. tight, or skimpy?

A simple answer: because they can.

P.S. Not everywhere. So the fact that those clothes are not worn in someplaces may have nothing to do with self-steem or other reasons already mentioned.

Re: Salary for an Incomplete Month of Work

Salary payable for incomplete month of work = (Monthly gross rate of pay)/(Total number of working days in that month) X Total number of days the employee actually worked in that month X 0   [probably not that funny to Gene but...]. Sound's right (except for the last multiplication).

In most cases people belong to a particular religion not by choice [were born into the religion and simply choose to remain there, etc.]. So every religion has the...

Re: Parking

Not sure if anyone has noticed, but Municipality have removed nearly 1000 parking spaces from the Emirates Towers side of Sheikh Zayed Road whilst they build the foundation work for the new Metro. As a result, people are parking where they can, often on sand lots, larger sections of pavement, off t...

I also got to go to Ruby Skye a old theater that was converted to a night club and Steve Lawler was spinning that night. The place is really nice with two huge dance floors.
