Someone told me that it was very recently changed. 30 day visa and if you want to renew for another 30 days you pay 500 dhs. If you overstay your visa you pay 100 dhs per day!

Haven't confirmed it...but what you read may be confirmation

I checked for my passport as well. and it says 30 days. When I came in back in february I got a 60 day visa which was then the rule

I've had Trophy around my person for decades.

There is a book called (Dubai Explorer and also Dubai Red Tape or something) which explains the whole procedure, etc. You will find the book in the same section as travel books (at Geant, Carefur, Spinneys, etc).

I saw the superbowl on ESPN thru the hotel tv lineup. I forget which of the cable packages carries it. You could also watch it thru the net. Download TVUplayer and go from there. I don't undertand how streaming works (quality, charges, etc.). The site has ESPN, NBC, CBS, etc. I'm an Airplane's fan.

I meant "aliens" as someone from another country and perhaps without a license and who is used to driving on the "wrong" side of the road. Going thru a fence; not a problem - perhaps a Dubai trained driver

I saw it a couple of weeks back. Sick but funny.
