Saturday 17th September, Harley Davidson in Dubai are showcasing the new 2012 models. There is also a bike parade starting at the ENOC station on Al Wasl road at 4pm, ending at teh Harley showroom on Shk Zayed road. Proceeds from sales of merchandise during the event go to charity.

Well I have an Ajman visa, which runs out in March, so it seems a waste of time to get one for 3 months, only to have to renew it again.

Nothing to do with locals id, it's to do with the justice system here. In this case, ok the judge saw sense and dropped it because of lack of evidence BUT this is pretty much a one off. Well if you're willing to travel to one of the 'quieter' emirates or ID centres, you can get the whole thing done in about 30 minutes.

I think I'll cop the 1,000 Dhs fine. It would cost the same to get 2 cards in 3 months anyway.

What I don't like is people who seem to have an inbuilt hatred and have never even met any of those people who they have hatred towards - pathetic really.

Kid, why do you not understand that to take someone to court, with the threat of jail for such a 'minor, petty' thing is just sooo stupid?! Not heard about one at the airport, but there is a store at Mirdiff City Centre - not far from the airport. They mostly stock perfume and beauty products. Obviously being a muslim country, you won't get the 'full range' of products.

I think it really depends on what sector you work in Drew and what your boss/workmates think and if you're out and about dealing with clients really. Sadly in many instances 1st impressions are still a big deal and piercings/tattoos etc still dont' sit right with a lot of people. It's sad I know.
