Re: Goodluck Johnson

I spent some time in Zimbabwe as a teenager and there were many with 'unusual names' - at least unusual to an English boy's ears. Patience, Sweety, Lucky etc were very common and didn't raise too many eyebrows. The most bizare ones I came across were 'Scholastic Achievement' (sort of understandable...

Re: Gender selective abotions - India

Well according to EH's views, he'd force a woman to have a baby even if the complications meant that the mother and child would lose their lives - nice!

Re: Chocohole

But all I hear from here is crap about how it 'used to be' and 'I knew that' and 'you have no idea how it really is' or ' that's old news' or 'you're an idiot'. That's a perfect description of her. She only forgot one thing! Eh, go back to the Politics forum, trying to play in other sections really...

Actually I think EH is pro-abortion, however he fails to see that sometimes abortions simply for the sake of it or for no genuine reason are acceptable.

Re: An Observation!

Usually cars never stop at zebra crossings here. I always do, but it always worries me what the person in the next lane in going to do. A young lad was knocked down two weeks a go near me because of this. BM, they more than likely stopped because you're a white woman and they wanted to oggle you! If...

Re: Gender selective abotions - India

As I've said before EH, it's a pointless exercise discussing this with you. You're not a woman so you can never ever profess to understand the decisions that a woman has to make with regards to such things. I have never said a woman does not have the right to choose - what I object to, and what you ...

When you get excessive, it sounds like you're almost trying to over compensated. Try some meditations to calm yourself and learn to keep yourself in check. Re: An Observation!

Seems to me the expat drivers are getting worse. They used to be the people you'd expect to stop at crossings (not tailgate or swerve across three lanes to an exit etc.) maybe that's allowing local politeness to shine through. Without a doubt driving is getting worse across the board, all nationali...

What ? you mean those white stripes at a traffic light doesnt mean "Speed up now" ??? LOL! It's the idiots that go into the yellow box at junctions and completely block the flow of traffic that crack me up. Yet, if you do as you're supposed to and wait until the exit is clear, you get a b...

The NICE thread

Ok, to get rid of all this negativity, name something nice that happened to you today!

I'm reminiscing back to my student days by watching Dawson's Creek - what the heck happened to James Van Der Beek? (There's a name that should be in the silly name thread).

Re: Back Pain Remedy

If BB says it's due to a car accident, then it's likely she has compression in the lower vertebrae. I know what this feels like and it affects the whole spine.
