I think quite a bit of recycling goes on and it's definitely not all just for show. Certainly Spinneys are pretty active at it, they have the various bins at their larger stores.

It's something that needs more awareness though.

ON topic - it's an interesting topic. Many expats end up with messed up accents and what we call 3rd generation children, parents from different palces and brought up in another, taught by different nationalities can totally lose their identity. But hey ho it happens.

I think it's just part of the world becoming smaller, people marrying out of their own nationality and moving further a field. I do wonder, whether there will become and 'international' accent.

I did laugh recently at a conversation from a mother in Dubai who was complaining that her child was picking up the Indian accent of her teacher and yet they refused to speak in English to the child at home, as they wanted her to learn ...

With regards to parasites and worms etc the same can be said about fish if you eat alot of it raw.
