It's a no brainer that many religions are twisted to favour men and women come off second best - you'd have to be blind and deaf not to see or hear about it! It's common practice.

I don't think it has anything to do with whether you are muslim or arab or not, it's who you are atrtacted to. Also don't forget the men would have to convert to marry the girls, they might not have been muslim originally.

That's pretty hard to do when a lot of companies insist on keeping your passport.

My company holds them for 'safe keeping' all we have to do to get it back, is fill in a form and give in our labour card - no big deal. I can understand why the do it, because we've had some absconders just up and leave owning alot of money - but hey people could do that at any time during their lea...
