Emirati Homegirls

Hey Guys, Just wanted to share this as it was brilliant! Was sitting having some lunch with friends yesterday, when all of a sudden we hear Daddy Yankee's 'Gasolina!' blasting out all over the place. So we turn around fully expecting it to be a group of young lads getting on down to the funky tunes....

Apparently DSF is officially cancelled, but shops are allowed to carry on with their promotions as long as they removed the DSF logo.

Bars might start playing music as soon as the 11th Jan.

All the bigwigs are meeting today to finalise a date for things to return to normal.

Good point Liban. Linda - no time for you anymore, quite frankly you're just a nuisance. Shakira - Interesting you attack the rebel lady, yet say nothing of Linda, who I suspect would be living with her fiance - is she not living in sin? Double standards maybe? Just interested in where you choose to...

Yorky, yeah that was the thing, when everyone else was deathly quiet, the music was mentally load, as I said the windows to the car were all shut, so the noise in the ...

Q: How do you tell, as you're driving towards Holland, that you've crossed the border? A: You see the toilet paper hanging out to dry on the washing lines. ---------------------------- "I see you were last employed by a psychiatrist," said the employer to the applicant. One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together. They each bought a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints, and were stuck in the thick head. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The...

If there is indeed anything? There sure is Choco... The Noble Quran says so. And That is God's Fact. :) Well scientifically speaking the only way you could really know this is to talk to someone who has died and been brought back to life, and no I'm not talking about near death experiences as the c...

The problem is because there are so many different people here with different standards of driving, they need EVERYONE to take a test and be of a certain standard. Western standard  ? I think the problem (or difference) is that the streets are wide and big, the cars are fancy and cheap (compa...

Sharm Al Sheikh

Hey All, Well nipped off to Sharm Al Sheikh for Eid. Pretty cool place, but a little too touristy for my liking. The diving is excellent, loads to see. Took a little trip to the St Catherine monastery which is on Mount Sinai. Around 25 Greek Orthodox Monks live there, one has been there 15 years. Th...

Going back ON topic!

Everyone is entitled to a little fun. It's only music. It's things like this that need to be re-addressed by many people. Some things just aren't condusive to 21st century living, we're not living in the dark ages.

It was a tragic event. But I have to agree with Sniper420, it doesn't matter how much security or how many precautions you take, many of these people will always push and shove everyone else as no one else is important apart from themselves, because they don't know any better. This always happens at...

Actually Tarot is very interesting. It's really all about personal energy. Things like this should only ever be used for guidance and can never give you definate answers to your questions, but can help to clarify situations. I've always found my personal readings and the readings I'll do for friends...

Chronicles of Narnia

Ahhhh - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

I haven't been able to see this yet. I loved the books as a child, it was required reading at school. Total escapism.

Anyone seen it yet?

I'm sure you didn't mean it in that respect. But as you've seen from other threads, people can be edgy around here and take things personally. Sometimes the best thing to do is not to say anything at all particularly if it's a comment that can be taken the wrong way.

Restraint is a good thing.
