Re: Union Properties posts 67% profit increase in Q1

Hahahaha oh please what a load of propaganda spin. 13 odd Million against 1.8 Billion?! They're still in the red big time at this stage and delaying their repayments.

Re: Belgium first European country to ban burka

Shaf, you completely go off on a tangent! Wearing make-up you can still see someone's FACE!!!! That's the point! Really what is so hard about this for you to understand?! Trying to explain it to you really is like talking to a brick wall. How about this, I'll put it in terms for dummies for you: Ban...

Re: Belgium first European country to ban burka

As I said before, stupid argument really as make-up does not 'obscure' your features, you can tell who someone is. You cannot compare the two. Seriously zero logic. Waste of time discussing it with you as you don't get it, aren't gonna get it.

Nothing left to say.

Re: This is why laws are confusing - hypocrisy!

er first off, if the police officer could not see into the car, then their tint is well over the legal 30% allowed - fine!

S.e.x in a public place - fine, jail, deportation.

Seems clear to me!

Re: Belgium first European country to ban burka

None comparable argument! Now if it were a woman in a burka, and a women wearing a balaclava to keep warm or something, that's comparable. Like I said, not getting it, never gonna get it. It's going to be law, the rest of Europe will follow, get over it. Go live in a tough regimed muslim country if ...

Re: Belgium first European country to ban burka

ok tell me this should they ban breast implants? Or should they invest in a technology in detecting bombs and explosives hidden in breast implants? Re: Belgium first European country to ban burka

RB, I'll pull out a couple of bits - 'Muslim MINORITIES' yes covering your entire face is a minority so deal with what the 'MAJORITY' want, and as previously stated if you don't like the law of the land - go away! Bringing up other religious groups - again as previously stated - is a moot point, bec...

Re: This is why laws are confusing - hypocrisy!

Thanks Choc. At last people start realizing that Dubai is a F@*#ed up place not worth the trip. Give it a little time, and Dubai will lose 90% of its western population, it is inevitable. Forget the tourism, it is already over. Of course, the world is a small place, there are so many other amazing ...

No it's not that. There's no issue with the people that come and work hard and contribute and pay NI and all the rest of it. But it's the ones who come in, get free housing, free health care and dole money.

Re: This is why laws are confusing - hypocrisy!

It's about imparting information and having an opinion. Nothing to contribute? Then don't bother. I just think this is another nail in the coffin for Dubai, general comments by readers of the papers would also indicate that.

Re: Paedophillia - Society Vs Church

You seem to agree with the report in that it is a problem of society as a whole and not limited to the Catholic church and celibate priests. (Edit - I don't have any insights either way.. but I would have guessed that celibacy must have had something to do with it.. ) The article does make a valid ...

Re: Who will be Britain's Next Prime Minster???

True, however it's just made people even more angry than they were already regarding the whole situation, especially when you comes across cases where people have been deported and come back several times. The mid boggles, it really does.

Nice try guys, unfortunately you still miss the point in that although make-up might alter ones appearance, you can still SEE THE FACE, and therefore identify the person, so once again - moot point.
