Now interstingly a friend of mine tried to do this recently, and bizarrely enough, the companies he contacted to hire an off-road vehicle from, would not insure them for use 'off-road'! Appreantly they're for school runs and general use!

Well how do you explain the fact that I know several people who are being chased back in the UK for loans that they've taken out here? And credit cards? Yeah, but like I said before, I've got no issues with them going and maiming and killing each other on the roads, it's the innocent people they take with them because they lack any kind of common sense or the necessary skills to control such vehicles. Sadly it's mostly down to mentality.

It's a terrible idea! How can a 14 year old 'child' have any concept of road use. Like I said if they're going to do it, they need to make the insurance astronomical, restrict the engine and vehicle size for a probationary period. Heck make them drive 45 cars!

I honestly don't know how people can do it! I understand if you're in real trouble, but morally it's wrong. It's a shame that people end up getting themselves in these situations in the first place.

Don't put words in my mouth! Of course not! But that's the problem, there are no coverage laws or insurance to cover such things in this country, therefore it needs to be looked at so things like this don't happen.
