Your visa would have automatically been cancelled when your fathers was. Yo then have 30 days to sort yourself out. Issuing a visa takes a couple of days. Depends how competent your HR department is.

I do not understand this! I am changing company, my current company will cancel my visa tomorrow and I'll get my new visa next week - what's wrong with these people that take forever.

Al Khail road has always been a 100km zone for much of it! The fines show up pretty quickly online. You don't get any black points or confiscations unless you are 50kms over the speed limit, but the fines are pretty steep.
