Well the cheapest place is still International City or getting a room in a villa.

But yeah you won't really get anything in your price range.

First off you will have a difficult time finding any decent job without qualifications.

Dubai is what you make it, search around the forum as there are answers to all your questions in other threads.

Oh lighten up already! Only 25?! There are lots of people far older than you who haven't found that special 'someone' and some might never. But it doesn't mean you're alone. Friends are just as important. If you going searching for it, you're never going to find it. Enjoy your single life. Relations...

What do you mean 'the noise from the airport was horrendous'? I live in Mirdiff, directly under the flight path, but I don't even notice the planes anymore. It's something that you get used to, what do you think people living around Heathrow and Gatwick do? Sharjah? Blurgh the place wants bombing, i...

Nope you don't have to do a thing. You don't notify them at all. So long as you still have money going into the account to pay the bills, they won't question it.

The only time you'd have to sort everything out, is if and when you finally leave the UAE for good.

OMG - well with a crappy attitude like that I don't expect you to get anywhere - I certainly wouldn't employ you! You totally have the wrong idea, wrong perception. Clearly all you've read about the place is what you read in the media. If all you can do is be rude and nasty to someone that was helpi...

THe US is less hypocritic?! I really don't think so. Do a little research on that and have your eyes opened. The US and their leaders are probably responsible for many issues in other countries today.

ESPN is available on some of the satellite carriers, but you have to pay extra subscriptions for it.

You can watch ESPN through the net as well.

Sorry but why would you have a k=monkey as a pet? They belong in the wild, not in a house. You don't keep animals like that as pets, it's cruel, unnatural and sorry to say but I have complete and utter contempt for anyone that would keep 'wild' animals as pets.

Bonk, that's only if you're concelling your visa and leaving for good. Can you imagine if you had to do that everytime you changed jobs? Nope you don't have to do anything. I've changed jobs 3 times and had visas cancelled and transferred, and I had car loans, credit cards etc etc. They don't get in...

They have just changed all the visa regulations. You can come in on a visit visa, however if you find a job, you will have to go back to your home country and wait for the work/residency visa to be ready, then come back in on that.

Bonk, as far as I am aware you cannot do visa renewals through Oman anymore, that stands for everyone pretty much. The 34 countries that can still get visit visa on arrival, can still not transer from visit visa to residence. You have to travel out the country, now where you have to go to is another...

Dude, we've pretty much told you what the options are, now you need to go look. Get a hotel room for a week when you arrive and look around. Infact your company should actually provide you with accomodation for 30 days to enable you to find a place.

I was very very sad to read that story and it's appalling.

Reading the UK papers online at the moment, there's practically a youngster knifed to death every single day - and for what? Nothing basically.

The UK is in a terrible state. Bring back national service is what I say.
