I never said covered women are repressed, don't put words into my mouth. Most of the time it's their choice and that's fine, but underneath they're ewaring all the latest fashions. With regards to education, there might be a time and a place for it, but the earlier kids know about it the better, bec...

I know that! You totally missed the point I was trying to make - never mind. They were just examples and I never said 'all' Emiratis either! Hence the term 'example'. Don't take things so literally, see outside the box.

Hahaha no, no sharks around here. erm well it's all about balance obviously. Most people only take a few attempts to get up, if you can snowboard, skateboard or surf then the concepts are the same. Everyone's posture is terrible to start until you find your balance and get used to riding sideways an...

Clearly you don't know me very well then, because I do have principles and I've never said rules aren't necessary. Once again you just read and see what you want to see of someone, not what is actually there.

Don't care to define anything! I don't like the game, have absolutely no interest in it whatsoever.

You can't say no tension is allowed! How lame is that! If there is there is, and there's not much you can do about it! The intelligent asnwer would be to find out why there is tension, and what can be done to resolve it. As has been stated many times before, your rulers opened the gates to tourists ...

If your contract states your working hours then that's what they should stick to. With regards to passports - they categorically cannot hold it! It's illegal! If you demand it, they should give it to you on the stop, no ifs or buts and if they refuse call the police and get them to hand it over. For...

The thing that causes tension for me, is seeing the younger gewneration completely incapable of doing anything for themselves, because they've been brought up by maids! Was at Ski Dubai tonight, and the little buggers just drop all their kit at the swing doors and expect the staff to put the ski'd/b...

Oh yes and don't let me forget the stupid woman who comes out of the MOE, letting the door slam shut in her daughters face! Poor kid! Boy did I let rip! Perseid Meteor Shower

Tuesday August 12th will see the annual Preseid Meteor shower be visible in the UAE. The best time to see them will be after the moon has set, around 1.45am. This is an amazing sight. If you get the chance to go out into the desert away from the city lights, where the sky is clear, you'll be in for ...

Pumping your own fuel!

Ok, so it'll be on a trial basis in a few petrol stations to begin with. But can you seriously see this working here? No problem for me, I come from a place where we all pump our own petrol, but I can't wait to see how other people will cope with this. Have to say the process of going in and paying ...

Credit card machines would be a good idea, apart from the fact that yo can't pay by credit card at fule stations anymore - too much fraud. In the UK, you just rock up to the pump, put in as much as you want, then go in and pay, plus we do have card machines at the pumps aswell. My nightmare would be...
