Depends, are they going to deport thousand of people if they all strike at the same time - doubt it! It's not the point, humans are responsible for the destruction of the natural habitats of many species, humans spread like a disease, enforcing themselves on other species, causing conflict where the...

However, I think there is an upside to this story and that the driver who was moron in the first palce, will think twice about doing it again. Sometimes a lesson needs to be learnt the hard way.

Yeah I read the story about the puppies, it caused uproar! No there isn't an RSPCA, but there is Feline and K9 friends, but you can report animal cruelty to the Municipality section that deals with it. But lets face it, we live in a place where idiot people keep lions, tigers, cheetahs, chimps and o...

Maybe, but it's a fact!

Since we joined the EU, every other damn country that joins has it's residents lining up to get in, in the meantime our 'locals' are being put out of jobs and our services are at breaking point. Bah humbug to immigration!

Because we're all being pushed out of our own country - that's why! Who the heck wants to stay in that godforsaken place these days with the state it's in. Why do you think we're all leaving in the first place. Bring back National Service, with the view that if you want in, you want to be a citizen ...

What so you can keep it in a cage, declaw it and file all it's teeth down. Stupid comment!

It's not big and it's not clever, so unless you want a good kicking, I suggest you get a slice of shut the hell up!

Gamesmaster, funny question but what nationality is your wife an her sister? My friend lives in Ajman an she gets it all the time, she is one of the few 'white' women here, and in the 5 minute walk from her apartment to work, gets honked at, propositioned, one guy even followed her to her apartment ...

Well quite frankly you can't blame some of these guys, who've been away from their wives for years on end. Staring I can cope with, to an extent, but when they start taking photos, tryin to touch you, or proposition you, that's crossing a line. Also some women sadly don't understand what country the...

Hey Mishi, Yes it's ridiculous that dating websites are blocked, yet you can go out and find a wife/husband at the drop of a hat. Try something like Table For Six, you can look it up on the net. Dating in this country is a mine field, and blokes here can be a nightmare, especially men from certain c...

Yes be very careful with the International Drivers licence, you cannot drive the car owned by a resident, it only entitles you to drive rental cars. A friend of mine got dragged to court recently for this as he only had the IDL and was driving a friends company car, which he thought was ok, now both...

Depends who you buy from, as many of the dealers work with certain banks.

Also be very careful which edalers you go to for a second hand motor, many of them are cowboys and will sell you a heap of rubbish.

Although the tap water may be ok to drink, have you ever tried it when you get a 'back wash'? Urgh - the chemical taste is disgusting!!! Before I came here, I was always used to filling my own car. Don't see a problem with it. But yeah I guess the pre-paid cards are because of the fact that some people seriously won't get off their arses and fill their car themselves, let alone then go intop the station to pay for it.
