Face Book screwed in the UAE?

Has Face Book finally become a victim if Etisalats silly blocking rules?

Everyone I know in the UAE now seems to experience problems with the site, yet people in other countries report it as working fine.

What's going on.....?

FB addict :(

Uh-huh so hunting something to the brink of extinction for the sake of 'tradition' is acceptable is it? Go hunt something which will be around for along time, or that can easily be bred. Hunting for the sake of it, is not a good enough excuse. But that would be typical of most people involved in spo...

Well I have worked on several gigs here. But I was purely a punter at this one, and it went off without a hitch. Well organised, no hassles into or out of venue, bars manned ok, the card system for drinks is a pretty good idea. Pink peformed really well, she sounds exactly like she does on her recor...

So long as you give your body a routine to stick by. Humans are natural grazers and 'health' speaking we should eat little and often. Tyhe best way to main a healthy weight is actualy to eat 5 small meals a day, it keeps your metabolism going. By stopping eating, your body will actually store fat an...

There are 3. The Emirates Flying School at Dubai airport, the Um Al Quwain Aeroclub and one in Fujeirah.

I'm hoping to go to UAQ. I have a trial flight on Saturday.

Fayz, you can work on a husbands sponsorship. All the company requires is for the sponsor (husband) to fill out a no objection form, and the company applies for a temporary labour card. That's what my mother did, there's no problem at all. Many companies withhol passports here, or some will take the...

What are you saying, there's loads of DJ's here in the UAE, who do you think supplies their equipment? All DJ equipment is easily available here, loads of music stores, although I don't know anyone that works off vinyl here, they're all cd and laptop dj's. With cd's and dvd's and the like, customs m...

Emirates Flying school is alot more expensive than the other places, plus their ground school is in very unsociable hours, there's no way I can get to the airport for 8.30am on a Friday and Saturday morning.

Exactly, there are other people still working outside and so on. So count yourself lucky. The Ministry states that ALL people working for private companies must reduce the working hours by 2 for ALL employees, regardless of religion. But it doesn't happen. Also it's impossible when your company's bu...

The Ministry has stated that employers cannot discriminate between religions of employees. The Ramadan hours are for ALL staff.

For 350 Dhs I seriously don't think they'd lose much sleep over it. Shops and the like have insurances to cover loses and things like that. Now if you'd disappeared owing 100,000 Dhs in loans, credit cards etc, as someone I know did, then you'd be in the poop.

Yes you can. You can also call the municipality and report the company. What I normally do is go to the site, take down the number get hold of the site manager and tell them to be quiet. There are strict times that they're allowed to be working and not.
