Ian - the hair of animals actually helps keeps them cool aswell as warm, so your cat was probably hotter and more agitated after you took it's hair off.

Hugh Laurie is amazing, he's come such a long way since starring in 'A bit of Fry and Laurie' - UK tv comedy show, and also BlackAdder.

He's a great British export.
