Society can have and requires laws and rules for people to live by, but you certainly don't need religion to reinforce it. As I said before there are laws of 'human kind'. The problem I have with religion enforcing or reinforcing things, is that they can so ingrain things into people that they can b...

I don't have to prove anything to you Freza, you can only experience these things for yourself, but I know many people who also experience these things.

Can you prove to me that God exists? Where's the scientific evidence? Can you film God on camera? Can you tape the words of God?

Well can you?

Who's getting upset? And I'm certainly not trying to make anyone believe anything, I've already said in my previous posts it up to each individual to believe whatever they want. I was merely throwing the same questions back at Freza that she asked me, because the same can apply in thi situation. She...

Now K, there's an interesting question. Is it fair, that religions say that God (if he/she/it exists) will forgive sinners if they repent? Does it not mean that even those who have the committed to most awful of crimes can gain forgiveness, from religion/god just by saying sorry? Certainly society d...

OK. In many societies women are under pressure to look good at all times, and particularly here in Dubai, there is 'big' pressure to look s.e.x.y! Media and society have much to blame, but also to bring about a point about finding a mate, where the women out number guys here, you have to do what is ...

Don't forget that the event at the Convetion Centre is an exhibition only. If you want to get some good electronics bargins, you need to head over to Gitex Shopper at the Airport Expo. The traffic is hell though.

If it's not going to be allowed to be competitive on price, then what's the point?

What they really need is to allow a network like Orange, Vodaphone or Virgin, then they'd get a kick up the bum.

The whole 'Human Rights' issue is a bit of a hot potatoe. And surely someone who has taken anothers life or has committed such awful crimes, has given up their 'human rights' and no longer has any place in society. The death penalty should be handed out for the severest of crimes, and it must be mad...

No-one should want a 'wild' or endangered animal as a pet, it's irresponsible and silly.

And yes I'd like a pet human please - oh wait most people in Dubai already have one of those, it's called a maid, nanny, house boy

Once again another daft thread. Don't you know that mans selfish need to try something 'different' is killing off many species? Especially those animals used for Bush meat.

I disapear of some people on here sometimes.

Bleakus, no offense, but some 'employees' are treated lower than the pet dog in this place. And I was being sarcastic, like Sara, I don't believe in having 'wild' animals as pets, taking them from their natural habitat and caging them for human enjoyment, so in light of that fact, what's the differe...

Well put it this way, it's very sad to say but if man keeps taking animals from the wild, then in just a matter of a few years, many of the species on the endangered list won't exist in thw wild anymore, and the only place you'll be able to see them is in a zoo. Isn't that sad? There's only somethin...

Ok, for a start someone who has mental health problems, is not possessed or taken over by a demon, that's just silly. I'm am totally appalled at the lack of help for people with mental health problems in the Middle East, it's still very taboo, and many people are abandoned and just left in facilitie...

Rather than an Imam, if you have a friend or family member who is in need of help, then you need to see a psychologist or councellor. People suffering mental illness, absolutely need their friends and family around them.

Strange tongue? Or just gibberish? First of all, taking the person to a doctor might be a good idea. The medical professionals will then assess the patient. People with multiple personalities have those traits, but obviusly you'll never know unless they get professional help. It certainly doesn't me...

Acutally I know very well what I'm talking about from personal experience, and how dare you suggest otherwise! Seeing as the person is talking gibberish and not in tongues as was first suggested, it can be all manner of mental illness. The person should be taken to a doctor or other medical professi...

Although the medical profession would be my first port of call in this situation, it's not to say that human possession does not take place. But this is very very rare. The person might well have been degenerating over time and suddenly cracked, which is why you now see all these problems, so illnes...

Paintball - If you missed it, you missed out!

Hey guys,

Well what can I say, well done to Bleakus for organising this event. It was brilliant.

My friends and I had a wicked time. Although I've got some mighty bruises this morning to show for it.

We definately have to do that again :D

Look it's really very simply, you can either try and help yourself, or not. But I think enough has been said on this topic now, and some very good advice and suggestions have been given. What you now choose to do with that advice, or not, as the case maybe is upto you.
