And the fact that the cartoons have been around since the 50's if not earlier. I agree with the taking out the smoking scenes. However what about oh lets say: The Simpsons Beavis and Butthead South Park etc etc etc. Give me a break, most parents are so bloody irresponsible these days they let their ...

What experience Alina? So there are lots of Dubai residents in Australia are there? How do you know 'anything' about the people living in Dubai unless you've been here?

You are completely random, go find a forum for teens that deals with your stuff.

Don't get confused! Many of the credit cards let you collect 'air miles' but it's not for flights. It's a little blue card which you can collect points at places like Spinneys, various restaurants and shops. You collect points and can exchange them for anything from a mobile phone, hotel stay, fligh...

Frok Rydges Plaza, best beaches are over on beach road, the Jumeirah beach park isn't bad, for access to the hotel beaches you'll pay anything from 100Dhs upwards for entry. Gold Souk, ask any taxi driver, go and barter away, hit them for half price and work up and don't give in, if they don't give ...

I use an Oral B Bright Smile electric tooth brush, it's great, it vibrates when 2 minutes is up so you know you been brushing for long enough. Normally when you start to use an electric toothbrush your gums might feel sore or bleed for a few days, but they just need to toughen up that's all. They cl...

Guys, chill out a little bit, you're making Ramadan sound like a hellish time to come when really it's not at all. Many independent eateries are now open daytime, they just black out the windows so as not to offend anyone. Practically all the barts are open in the evenings, they just don't play 'liv...

So not true Maaad, I've collected points and got a slim-line scanner for my laptop, laptop speakers, a blender, business card holder, and my last redeemable item was a TV!

As I said if you pay with your credit card and present the airmiles card, you can really rack up the points.

Greece beat USA NBA 'Dream Team'

Hahahahahaha - In your face America!!!! I watched this game, it was awsome. Will it be Greek domination? Thousands of jubilant fans took to the streets of major cities in Greece on Friday shortly after their basketball team stunned the US NBA star-studded "Dream Team" 101-95 in the semi-fi...

What really scares me is the fact that we are cheering USA's lose more than we are cheering for the winner ...

A couple of cases were brought before the Ministry recently where a couple of clubs were found guilty of racism at the door, i.e. their door staff refused certain people because of their naitonality. The doorstaff I think got a suspension. However, yes it happens in lots of places and there are vari...

That's totally ridiculous, you don't have to fill out leave forms for going to Oman or where ever overnight, that's just silly.

So everytime you go away for the 'weekend' it comes out your annual leave? That's stupid. Plus it's illegal for your company to hold your passport.

I'll second that. Please don't lump all westerners together, I and all my friends certainly don't have any problems during Ramadan at all.

It's fine, there's no big deal really so long as you are prepared for things that's all.
