You can! BUT there's still much red tape to work through, you still have to get a letter of No Objection Certificate from the company you're leaving, but if you're going to work for a competitor they might not give it to you.

A ban does not now automatically get put on you.

Most of the DJ's I know use a mixture of vinyl and CD's. Some mixes are only available on vinyl like white label records where a track has been pressed and it's not signed up to a distributor yet. Well the embassy should be able to do most of the work for you, they send a photocopy to the university to be authenticated and stamped. Then you take that to the ministry here and they attest it and stamp it to say it's all OK, the whole process shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks.
