I feel like I age really quickly here and I don't like it. Maybe that's why everyone in Dubai is on a mission to retain their youth by refusing to settle down. hhhmmmmmm

His album is very good though, I like it alot. I like Butterflies because of the fusion sound but I guess it's an acquired thing for some people, but I'm really into that sort of thing right now.

DXBsoul, you're correct they 'ping' the moon to check the distance. And no the lunar module doesn't use it's rocket thruster to land as it would use all the fuel to blast the lander back into space. Because there is limited gravity they only require the use of the small thrusters for landing as you'...

I'm having a really good time learning snowboarding. However I find that there's too much traffic on the slope all at once and it's hard if you're a learner as I know people expect you to get out the way, but hey I'm a learner and bloody can't! Came a cropper last week, guys on the ski lift were lau...

Capricorn One was filmed in the desert. The moon landings were filmed obviously from the moon.

Also with regard to the shadows in the pictures, don't forget that the Earth itself would have reflected a lot of light back towards the moon.

Dubaidiva, you're not offending it's well known that sadly many locals use hookers, not men here on business as has been suggested. Plus you also have to look at it this way, while you have ladies of the night satisfying a demand, the men aren't hassling the women on the street. Now that used to be ...

SD, If you have no issues finding another position which obviously you don't, and if they kick up a stink about unpaid wages and if they act THAT unprofessionally, the inform the Director and screw them, screw them, screw them!

Don't you know it's rude to talk about and brand someone without letting them have their say? The whole thing is a complete tragedy of gigantic proportions! The whole invasion of Iraq was uncalled for, not that Acebravo is interested in my opinion here, he's already branded me biased without botheri...

There is no excuse for what happened in Haditha, and revenge is the worst excuse. It's a tragedy that innocents were killed, but if this story is accurate, then there were many people in that town who were also guilty of horrible things:

Acebravo, The fact that you're unwilling to look at others opinions just shows how ignorant and arragant you are yourself. There is no justification for what happened, I have made that perfectly clear, you're obviously incapable of seeing that. And your reaction to the article that I posted was exac...

Yeah I know Liban. But at least you're willing to listen to what I have to say and don't judge me for it and you have a much more open mind as well. It's a difficult situation, the US and UK need to get out of there. But interestingly I see Acebravo and MS haven't bothered to comment on Middle Easte...

Also hmmmmm where do you think NASA possibly got their big old chunks of moon rock from? But of course we all know the moon is made of cheese! Wallace and Gromit say so!

W, not wanting to put a dampner on you being poorly, but it always amuses when people say they have the 'flu'. Full blown flu knocks you for six for at least a week. It's more than just a fever. You feel sick, ache all over and virtually can't get out of bed.

Sounds like you just had a bad cold.

Thanks Liban and Lionheart (shocks falls over faint), but I think you're right. Having Peacekeepers from other Muslim countries would command alot more respect and certainly ease the situtation. But still I don't understand why these countries are unwilling to get involved, it's very sad. MS, with a...

I think it's totally and utterly weird and slightly gross. As said it weakens the gene pool and passes on genetic problems to the children, I know several families with just these problems because of the fact they're interelated and the poor kids - it's a disaster. Did you know that Queen Elizabeth ...
