Re: 20 Kids This Year

It;s got nothing to do with nannies looking after the children, it's to do with parents not taking responsibility. Many of these children were left on their own! Why aren't windows having restrictors put on them, or why are they even allowed to open at all?

Re: 20 Kids this Year

What Drew says is true, however, we do have to bear in mind that many of us come from countries where we've had education and awareness campaigns for years and people are punished for neglect. Did we wear seat belts etc in the70's and early 80's? er nope. You forget that this country is ONLY 40 year...

LOL land at the airport - oh hello Mr police officer. Expect to be taken down into the cells and remain there until you can find someone to pay the 100,000 dhs or it's 1 day in jail for every 500 dhs you owe!

in a word NO! You need to make arrangements and start paying them before you get here, otherwise you will literally be bang up from the moment you hit immigration.

Re: Car Stolen From Sharjah..

No, insurance won't pay out on that, because it's his fault it got nicked in the first place. NEver EVER leave your car/house/flat unlocked or with valuables on display. Re: Car Stolen from Sharjah..

erm people don't just break into cars in the UAE, especially not cars like that. So it's going to be pretty hard to come up with a convincing story. Plus he'll have to report it to the police before he can even go to the insurance company.

Re: Culture Club Live At The Dubai Tennis Stadium

Oh no when COldplay played Emirates Palace a couple of years ago it was the best gig I've ever been to. It totally chucked it down with rain, was a massive thunder and lightning storm but they carried on and turn in a fantastic show. They're an extremely talented group, definitely one to see live.

Re: Outstanding Credit Card Balance

Oh so my post is idiotic and other posters calling you a thief aren't? So you admit to being a thief then? And what insurance? Banks here do not have insurance policies to cover such things like other countries do - that IS a FACT!!! You might be a transit passenger, but how do you know they might n...

Re: End Of Service - Advice.

Visa cancellation can be quick or a lenthy process, depending on whether they want to be difficult. Your un-used leave should be paid along with end of service gratuity, which I think is 21 days pay per year worked. Normnally final payments are made to the bank and your account could be frozen whils...

This guy is totally hectic, watched a few of his shows, he's pretty good. As to the question, I think it's a forgone conclusion, because man by nature is greedy and selfish.

Re: Can I Leave My Company In Probation Time In Dubai? (FREE

The point of probation is so that either you or the company can agree to part ways within that period of time without any hassles, but it should state that in your contract. If you do decide to leave, if they've already processed your visa, then you are liable for paying the company back the costs o...

Nah he's pretty open about lots of stuff, if that was the case he'd have made it known.
