I will be arriving in a few weeks. My wife would like to work, probably as shopgirl or something similar. Does this pose any problems? Does anyone know what the average pay is in malls and shops?

I will bring her over on a tourist visa and do the paperwork to get her a residence visa, as well.

I haven't been able to connect to Bayt.com for 10 days. I have tried multiple computers, different browsers, even a foreign proxy, but can't reach their servers.

Anyone else having difficulty with their site? I am still getting daily updates in my email.

When I have run into this in interviews, it is usually a terminology issue. The interviewee (or myself on a couple of occasions) knew the concept and use it regularly, but called it by a different name. I know about databinding and have used it, but I just called it "linking data into the forms...

I found the problem. Bayt is blocking countries. I was able to get in by using a proxy server in Turkey. I have no idea why they want to block applicants in Asia.
