Banning a particular group of people is just asinine, every individual who acts like an idiot should be apprehended, but blanket bans are stupid

Many locals dont like the sight of bikini clad people in public beaches, so do they propose banning all westerners for that?

Wet Floors in bathroom = Dirty

But what I find funny is that many people who find it disgustign to use water to wash, find it perfectly ok to not use water at all, or to not wash hands!

That'll be becaue 99.99999999999999 (you get the picture) % of their reporting staff are from the subcontinent! Many Arab reporters are in GN as well. And its not because they are from a particular place; a number of Indian broadsheets would put GN/KT to shame with it's quality of reporting , so th...

I object to having past one of the toughest tests in the world, having driven for 18 years without incident, to then have to be put through a crappy test here, which they'd fail me for no apparent reason to make more cash. It makes no sense whatsoever! Did you know that there were plenty of people ...

Re: Ram Buxani - Rags to Riches from dubai ...

. Even shop names are written in Urdu or Hindi, which rank alongside Arabic and English as the major tongues of the UAE's grand multicultural experiment. Thats an absolutely false statement. I have not seen a single shop sign ever in Hindi, even in hardcore Indian areas like Karama. Maybe 1 or 2 sh...

Carrying medicine (not banned) can lead to jail!

Ok, now I can understand people getting in trouble because they carry banned medicine,. However the poor guy in this case spent a month in jail, because even though the medicine wasnt banned , the authorities took 1 month to verify it was ok. Why on earth should a person be in jail with criminals wh...

On other hand, banks here are ***** If you owe 5000 Dhs on a loan, and have 50000 dhs in the bank, and you lose your job, the bank will freeze your 50000 untill you return the 5000 from outside the 50000. Only Emiratis will be allowed to start ay 16, many of them drive from 14 onwards, and making it legal will allow them to do so legally. Going by the way many of them drive, and the huge chip they have on their shoulders, I dont think this will be a good move.
