May be not as weird as the pants thing but I've just heard some kid say on telly that he was rioting because VAT had gone up and he wanted to get some of his tax back. That's a bit weird! He didn't mention how much VAT had gone up to tho :D To be honest I can't even imagine that he knew what VAT was.

VAT is Value Added Tax, Bora. It is added to goods at point of sale so therefore if you buy a 50in wide screen TV, VAT is calculated at 20% of the purchase price.
So much cheaper if you can just go and 'nick' one though!
