If you really feel like teaching them a lesson you can call 999 and report the plate. You can then 'meet' them at the local bill station to discuss the 'issue'.

Usually, if you feel very strongly about it, they will be asked to apologise.

i dont really see why everyone has such a big issue on two blokes smoking a bit of hash, i don't see how it particularly effects you, unless they're breaking into your room when they're stoned or something. all you get is a smell. i'm sure you don't follow the law to the letter so why not leave the...

Well... the problem is the fines are simply not enough to deter people from driving badly. At 200 dirhams... some people can afford to drive like a maniac... On the other hand... there's clear indication they could increase it to 300 and make more money... but they haven't so... don't think it's 10...

Not sure it's worth getting caught with drugs.

You may get lashed.
You will go to gaol.
You will get anally raped in gaol (apparently big problem).
You will then be deported.

Or... you could just leave the drugs alone.

As an electronics enthusiast, I can say whilst there ARE lots of electronics shops in Dubai... there are very few good ones. Quite often my friends will phone me to find me on a wild goose chase for something elusive, and the number of electronic items I have bought with the sole intention of repurp...

I bank with Emirates and they're excellent. Did you follow-up your fax with a phone call or just sit waiting for it. I often find if I need things done immediately, I go to the branch, where I get first class customer service (although I am not a first class customer). They are heaps better than Mas...

As English Girlie said (psst, trust the girls to know this things eh), GTR is the racing version hence faster than the GTI. I vaguely remember my neighbour here drives one but cant be sure. Maybe GTR is not legal in this country. The difference between the GTi and the GTR is the stickers. Stickers ...

Thanks RTA

Well, since you're all going to find out about it eventually, there's a new road opened up connecting Knowledge Village with Umm Suqeim which will make it even easier to dodge the MOE Salik gate. The problem is now all the traffic will come down directly through knowledge village, which is only held...

I always head to Sharjah and take the road to Fujeirah from there following the signs (Don't ask me for exit numbers). This will take you through what I presume you mean is the Friday market. Of course, watch out driving through Sharjah... there are many inmates serving time waiting to be deported t...

If by new road they mean the 611 - I have taken it and it is heavily populated by trucks... and not recommended. It is easy to get too though, just stick to Al Khail Road and take the exit to E44. then take the exit to 611 then E88. Better off going the Sharjah way... ironically I'm going to say it ...

Being a virgin is one of the things that proves you are in charge, and it shows that you are powerful enough to make your own decisions about your mind and body. Provided that is indeed the reason why one remains a virgin. Plus it should be said that just because someone is a virgin doesn't mean th...

Tis the season for what?

It always strikes me as ironic when people are like "be nice it's the festive season" or "give to charity this Christmas".

What's wrong with being charitable 24/7/365? Or at least being yourself 24/7/365 and not someone you're not?
