IT Media & Digital Assets Manager

Job Purpose
My client requires an IT Media & Digital Assets Manager to manage and oversee the development and collaboration of web tools/technologies.

The Role
You will be responsible for the following:
• Manage and be 'hands on' with the IT delivery of internet and intranet web sites
• Manage and Deliver IT system for maintaining, distributing and protecting high definition digital assets
• Facilitate usage of such a digital asset management system by internal business users as well as external consultants
• Manage the IT delivery and maintenance of websites (internet / intranet) as needed by the Business units
• Manage and deliver IT solutions for collaboration including; Wikis, blogs, internal survey management system
• Document management structures / workflows customised for business needs
• Manage and Deliver of multimedia and interactive media solutions and related IT consultancy as needed by the business units
• Multimedia content delivery
• Presentations in CD/DVD
• Produce, maintain and ensure compliance to IT standards for web site user interface design, usability and information architecture
• Procure, deploy and support tools and technologies related to multi media, collaboration and digital asset management

Essential Requirements
To be successful, you will need to have demonstrated the following:
• Degree in Computer or Multi Media related disciplines
• 8 years experience in multi media and collaboration related tool/technologies
• Management of digital assets
• Design of intranet/internet
• Adobe/Macromedia FLASH experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable skills
• HI FI definition file management
• Stakeholder management at the very senior level
• Exposure to Middle East or specifically to the GCC area
