We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and hard working sales-orientated business developer to to join and support our new sales team in Dubai.
Our company is a fully regulated international financial advising company and our Dubai branch is located in DIFC. The successful candidate will ideally be already living in Dubai, and if you have already gained experience in the financial sector then this will be an advantage. Experience in a business development role in any sector is essential.
This is a predominantly office based role, focussed on creating new local sales opportunities from multiple channels for our client-facing financial advisers.
The successful candidate will report directly to the global Business Development Director, and also to the regional head, whilst also liaising with a team of client facing financial advisers to whom you will distribute any appointments created.
You will be required to:
Maximise the company’s existing contact database in prospecting for potential new clients
Continuously source and develop your own new prospects in the region
Create and manage an ongoing program of promotional events to be attended by prospective clients. This includes theming, promoting and liaison with venues, speakers and partners.
Create face-to-face meetings for your developed prospects with a member of our advisory team, create accmpanying prospect file
Academic decoration is a plus, but not essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate self-discipline, strong customer relationship skills, an excellent and confident telephone manner, and a flair for sales. Again, experience in or exposure to the financial services sector would be preferred.
The telephone will be a major tool of your job. If you are not a confident and engaging telephone communicator then this will not be for you. For the most part, you will be the first voice that prospective new clients will hear, and in many cases the first person they will meet, and it is essential that you are comfortable in embracing that responsibility.

We offer a very competitive basic salary, the level of which would depend on level of experience, supplemented by bonuses/commissions rewarding new business created.
